Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors on our 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. This is gonna help you see a little bit better whenever you're backing up or just hauling longer loads, and it does come in a pair of two, so you're gonna get the passenger's side and the driver's side. Not only is the extra towing mirror gonna help you see the longer loads that you may be hauling, it's also not for you, but for the other people on the road. There's a lot of people on the highway, and being able to see the people coming up on your sides, so whenever you're merging, turning, stuff like that, it's just gonna keep everybody more safe, and it's gonna keep you from white-knuckling the wheel, wondering what's going on, now, you know. What secures this to our mirror is this soft and durable rubber strap. We've had these down here for a couple years now, and they've held up, so they're not cracking or anything like that. more

Today, we're taking a look at the K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirror on the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Comes in a pack of two, they increase your field of view. Both mirrors are independently adjustable, let's see how they look. So your standard mirrors are going to allow you to see down the side of your vehicle all the way to the end of your trailer, but with your towing mirrors, it is going to expand your field of view, allowing you to see the other vehicles in the other lanes, so not only is it going to give you the peace of mind, allowing you to back in and park easier and safer, it's going to allow you to switch lanes, and just overall keep everybody a lot safer. So you have two mirrors here, a convex and a flat side, the flat side is going to extend your field of view of your standard mirror, and the convex is going to give you a wide angle view, allowing you to have a really precise parking. This mirror is gonna be 7 1/2 inches wide and 5 1/8 inches tall, and they are adjustable up and down, left to right. more

Now, here I am in the back of my trailer, hooked up to our Cherokee and you can see me in the factory mirror. But the problem comes in when I step away, you're going to lose track of me, but that's where a towing mirror is going to help out.It's going to give you that wider field of view so you can see to the lane over, so you can safely make that lane change, park your trailer, or possibly even just pull up at the campgrounds. That wider field of view definitely helps out seeing everything and it gives us the confidence that we can safely get down the road. Because, let's face it, it's not really a good practice to stick your head out the window, to see what's going on with your trailer behind you.Now, our towing mirror is going to secure itself to our factory mirror, and again provide us an additional mirror so we can see what's going on. CIPA Dual-View Clip-On Towing Mirror Installation - 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video

Hey guys, Connor here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the CIPA universal towing mirrors for our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. At least towing mirrors are going to be a great addition to our Jeep because we're going to be limited with the factory side mirrors and how much of our trailer we can see as well as our blind spots.A really nice feature about the CIPA mirrors in particular for the dual mirror faces here as you can see, they're both adjustable and however, the larger mirror face is actually going to be better for seeing our trailer, whereas the smaller mirror face here is actually going to be better for seeing our blind spots while we're out on the road. Now, a really nice feature about these CIPA towing mirrors is that they're extremely universal, meaning they can fit all different shapes and sizes of factory side mirrors.There's two hinges here as well as two adjustment points here. And then again, two straps, so we can adjust the tightness and get the tension desire. Just as a reference point, I'm standing directly beside the trailer now, which we can clearly see with our factory side mirrors. more

This is going to help when trying to pass vehicles or park our trailer. If I step out even further we have that dual view on the side, which is going to give us an even wider field of view that we can adjust to whatever settings we need.A great thing about our towing mirror is that it is going to be fully adjustable at both our large and small dual mirror. Now it's going to give us a better view of what's around us, whether we're driving down the highway, backing up our trailer, or even pulling up to the campgrounds. Our tow mirror's going to have full adjustability, and we're going to be able to adjust it up and down, left and right, to get that perfect viewing angle, as well as being able to rotate it to the side for a wide angle view. Now the way it's going to attach, is there's going to be four small tabs that fit in between our glass and our housing, as well as two straps that are going to come around the back side. Now even though our mirror is going to attach to our factory mirror, we're not going to lose any adjustability, still being able to adjust our factory mirror to the full extent, so we can safely get down the road. And for those close quarter situations, maybe pulling it a parking spot, we can still fold our mirror in, just want to be aware that we can't fold it fully in because it will make contact right here on the door. Now on the back, we're going to have two straps that are going to secure it down, and they're going to have a nice rubber pad that not only's going to give us a nice grip to our factory mirror, but it's also going to give us a little protection, so we're not going to have to worry about any abrasions on our factory mirror. Now one thing I really like about these mirrors is the fact that they are universal. So if you have several different vehicles in your family that you tow with, chances are they might fit those as well. more

CIPA Clamp On Towing Mirror Installation - 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video

Today on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited we're gonna be taking a look at showing you how to install this Cipa Universal Clamp On Towing Mirror, part number CM11980. Here I am at the back of my trailer and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror, but if I step away you're gonna lost track of me, but that's where our tow mirror comes into play. This is gonna give us a greater field of view of what's going on around us and it's gonna help us, whether we're driving down the highway, backing our trailer up or even pulling up to the campgrounds. Our mirror's gonna be fully adjustable, so we can get the correct angle when we go down the road and we're even able to turn it to the side to get more of a wide angle view. Now, the arm here is extendable, so we can just loosen up this knob here and we can slide our mirror out, tighten it back down and having even more of a wide angle view. Now, the way our tow mirror's gonna attach is it's gonna clamp on in these two spots to our factory mirror houses going right underneath our glass and our housing. It's gonna have a nice landing rubber pad, so we don't have to worry about any scratches or abrasions on our factory mirror. Now, the clamps or the landing pad's not gonna interfere with our mirror and we're still gonna have full adjustment being able to get the perfect angle to get us down the road safely. For those tight quarter situations where we may need to fold our mirror in we're still able to do that even with the mirror attached. Now, one of my favorite things about these mirrors is the fact that they are universal, so if you have several different vehicles in your family that you tow with chances are these might fit those as well. Today, on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler we'll be taking a look at the Cipa Towing Mirror, part number: CM11980. Now, I've gone ahead and backed up to our trailer just to give you an idea of good our mirrors are. You can see clearly to the back of our trailer in our factory mirror, though if I step out to the side we're going to lose that visibility in our factory mirror but gain it in our towing mirror. This is going to be really helpful whenever we're off-roading with our jeep. We can easily adjust our towing mirror to widen our field of view. If we undo this nut, here at that top, we're able to slide our mirror out so we can see even farther to the side. You just want to make sure that you tighten up the nut, and then you can adjust your mirror. The two tabs at the top of our mirror are going to grip around our housing. We'll have a rubber coating on the top portion to prevent any scratches or abrasions. more

Today, on our 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Rampage custom towing mirrors for the driver and passenger side. That's going to be part number RA8605. Here I am at the back of my trailer, and you clearly see me in my factory mirror, but if I step away, you lose track of me. That's where our towing mirrors are going to come into play. Whether we're driving down the highway and we need to change lanes, park our trailer, pull up to the campground, or even if we're off-roading in our Jeep, this is going to greatly benefit us and give us a wide angle and a wider view so we know what's going on around us. Both of them are going to install under five minutes, so if we're ever off-roading or doing any rock crawling in our Jeep, this is going to be a great option to give us a wider view so we can know what's going on. Our custom-fit mirror is going to fully adjustable. We're going to be able to angle the mirror pretty much any way we need to to get that perfect view. The way our mirror is going to attach, it's going to have a couple hooks that hook onto the housing of our mirror along with this strap that's going to come around and secure it down. It is constructed of a nice plastic that's going to match similar to our factory mirror giving it that nice, sleek look. The two hooks here on our tow mirror, as well as the rubberized strap on the inside aren't going to interfere with our factory mirror, so we're still going to be able to adjust it without losing anything. more

So here's what our mirror looks like fully installed, and we actually have the option with this mirror if we want to tall angle of view like this, or if we come to the back and remove the screw, we can actually remove our mirror and we can put it back in this way and actually have more of a wide angle view. Now the clamps here actually go in between the housing and the mirror glass itself, so we're not going to lose the function of our factory mirror.
